Effective immediately, all engineering goblins must return feather tokens

The only thing worse than the sound of a goblin hitting the warehouse floor at speed is the sound of a goblin gently falling and cackling the entire way down.

Have we tried gold yet?

Beadle & Grimm’s Pandemonium Warehouse is thrilled to announce its first Gold Edition: Eberron: Rising from the Last War.

After putting out the Platinum Edition of Waterdeep: Dragon Heist last year, the Sinister Silver Edition of Ghosts of Saltmarsh AND the Platinum Edition of Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus this year, we’re clearly feeling our oats. So, with much excitement and some degree of trepidation, we announce the Gold Edition of Eberron: Rising from the Last War.

Why trepidation? Because almost everything the Engineering Goblins roll out from the R&D department blows up on the launch pad a few times. But we can live with that.

We’re more concerned about… well, the gusto with which the Engineers have embraced the more eccentric bits of the world of Eberron. They have always wanted to be heroes of a grand adventure, but you know, they’re engineers, so no. But now they all imagine themselves Artificers, grand magical tinkerers and artillerists, and it’s put a bit of a strain on our ability to bully/manage them. We’ll get it sorted.

effective immediately, all engineering goblins to return top hats and MONOCLES

I don’t know that we need to say much more than that. Eberron is not steampunk. Knock it off.

EFFECTIVE immediately, any engineering goblin spotted with a pocket watch will be fed to the Tsucora quori

We just got one and don’t know what it eats, to be honest, but pretty much everything eats goblin so we’ll give it a go.

so what’s a gold box?

We’ve done a Silver box, we’ve done a couple of Platinum boxes, so what’s a Gold box? Remember that story about the little girl who stole three bowls of porridge from some bears, and when the bears caught her, they divided her up into three portions? Well, the Gold box is kind of the middle portion. So it’s got more stuff than a Silver box, but without the really bonkers bits in the Platinum box.

and by stuff…you mean what?

Well, go take a look at what we delivered for our previous box. Go on. I’ll wait.

When can we see the actual images from the gold Edition?

We can’t reveal much because the book isn’t out yet, but this book is going to be a little different from our other offerings. It’s not a adventure, it’s a source book, so while there’s a short adventure in the book (for which we’ll do maps and other goodies) a lot of the content we will be including are tools for Dungeon Masters to build great adventures of their own. All of which is a long way of saying that there will be fewer spoilers so we’ll get to show more.

But not yet! In the meantime, feel free to feast your eyes on some of our past creations.

Battle maps

Battles done right. We provide kick ass battle maps for your biggest fights, and the most epic moments of the adventure.

Artifacts and trinkets

Real physical items that your characters will want, need, and covet. Especially when knocked off a skyway high up in the city of Sharn, hint hint.

in world handouts

Items that you can really hand your characters. Why just explain the contract your players made with the Dark Lanterns, when you can hand it to them?

Encounter Cards

Fangs up front, stats in the back. Let your players feast their eyes on what they’re fighting, while all the stats for monsters, and important role-playing info for NPCs, is heads up behind the DM Screen (which, of course, we’re also making).

Kind of like we did for baldur’s gate: descent into avernus.

more? yes. Yes. Yes.

We’re here to launch you full speed into the world of Eberron, so bonus encounters, pre-build characters, newspapers, and more that we don’t want to talk about yet…

is the sourcebook in there?

It is! We break it up into smaller books so you can hand the character creation section to your players while keeping the monsters safely tucked away.

so how do you get your hands on some gold?

You pre-order, of course.

Click that button down there to pre-order your copy!

So when does it actually ship?

Wizards drops Eberron: Rising from the Last War in November. We start shipping in February.

How many are you going to make?

This will not be a limited to a 1000 copies like a Platinum Edition, but it is going to be a limited run. We’ll judge how big the run will be based on pre-orders.
